Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

This policy is written in plain English on purpose. Questions — just ask.

What we collect

We collect two kinds of information. First, coach account info — the name, email, and organization details a coach provides when setting up GamePlanr Talent. Second, player registration data entered by parents when they register a player for a tryout: the player's name, birth date, positions played, and the parent or guardian's contact information.

Why we collect it

We use this information to run the tryout the coach organized — routing players to the right age group, powering check-in and evaluation on tryout day, and sending confirmations. If a family explicitly opts in via the consent checkbox on registration, we also keep their information in the organizing program's year-over-year talent pool so a coach can follow up in future seasons. We never add anyone to the pool without that explicit consent.

Who sees it

Registration data is visible to the coaches of the program the family registered with — the organizer running that specific tryout. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with other organizations or third parties for marketing purposes.

Children's data

GamePlanr Talent is used by youth sports organizers. Registration for a player is always completed by a parent or guardian, not the child. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

Retention & deletion

We keep registration and talent-pool data for as long as the organizing program uses GamePlanr Talent. If you'd like your information — or your player's information — removed, email us and we'll take care of it.
